My July Favorites

Hey Friends,

Oh-My-Goodness! The month of July completely flew by. I really just need these days to slow down just a little bit, PLEASE!

I am starting a new monthly series here at LivingLifeAsIAm.com where I share with you 5 of the things I am absolutely LOVING for the month.

The month of July has been a crazy month for me because my husband and I moved from California to Ohio/Northern Kentucky. We are learning and adjusting to our new city and trying to get our lives back to somewhat of a “normal” state. But along the way, I have been loving some new products that I have tried for the first time this month. These products have helped me so much especially since I have been living out of a suitcase for almost a month. Let me know if you have tried any of the products in the comments below, I would love to know your thoughts on them. And if you haven’t tried them, I highly recommend you try them and let me know what you think.

So for the Month of JULY here are a few of my favorite things…

Beauty/Makeup Must Have:

Fenty Beauty: Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

When this foundation first launched, I refused to jump on the bandwagon. There was no way that I was going to spend my money on this, besides everyone and their momma is going to have it anyways, I’ll wait *arms crossed* it can’t be that great anyways. Let me tell you I was so stubborn and seriously refused.

It wasn’t until a few months ago, my friend was telling me how much she loved the foundation and I should really try it. Of course, I was like HECK no… and a week after the conversation she purchased me a bottle, of course, it was the wrong color so I went into Sephora to exchange it and have the MUA color match me for the right shade. I did not use the foundation right away because I was still looking at it with a side eye. It wasn’t until this July that I was forced to use it because I ran out of my go-to foundation. And oh boy! It really is amazing, my skin looked so flawless, airbrushed, and perfect. I was really feelin’ myself LOL!  And I have been wearing it ever since. All I have to say is JUST TRY IT!!! You will Love it.

Hair Product:

The Mane Choice: Ancient Egyptian Anti-Breakage & Repair Cuticle Control Leave-In Lotion

The Ancient Egyptian Anti-Breakage & Repair Cuticle Control Leave-In Lotion is a game changer for me with my wash day routine. My hair was feeling so dry and the breakage was so real. I was looking for something to not only help with the breakage but something that also left my hair moisturized and soft. It was by a miracle that I stumbled upon this product and thank god I did. This product leaves my hair feeling amazingly soft, moisturized, shiny, and has reduced my breakage significantly. If you are in need of a great leave-in conditioner/lotion, you have to try this. You will thank me later.

Nail Product:

Sally Hansen: Insta-Dry 3.0 Nail Color

I am absolutely obsessed with Sally Hansen Nail Products, but the fast drying nail polish has stolen my heart. I am the type of person who is always on the go and I never have time to let my nail polish dry and not to mention I am constantly changing my nail color. This nail polish is so quick drying its insane and a life saver.

Stationary Obsessions:

The Paper Studio, Elle Oh Elle: Lady Boss Washi Tape

Some would say I am a bit of a “Planner Geek”, I love all things planners and planner supplies/stationary. This month I have found myself reaching for the Paper Studio Elle Oh Elle collection washi-tape and stickers to decorate my weekly spreads. If you are anything like me and love your planners you have to check out the rest of the Elle Oh Elle collection.

What can I say, Gorgeous In Grey is one of my favorite blogs! I absolutely love that it radiates positivity, inspiration, and of course Style. Make sure you check out Gorgeous in Grey and join the tribe.
