Christmas is almost here!

It feels so good

Hello! Hello!

Christmas is almost here…And I am so excited! I am not sure why I am so excited about Christmas this year but I am. I have been walking around so happy and full of life lately. I finally feel like I am getting back to myself, and it feels so good.

There are a few things that I have noticed this year while I have been out and about shopping and getting everything together for Christmas:

  1. No one says Merry Christmas anymore
  2. People walk around looking absolutely miserable
  3. Most people are absolutely rude
  4. It seems like people around town have forgotten the meaning of Christmas

My hopes for everyone this holiday season is that people remember all of the things in life that they are grateful and thankful for, because once they consciously make the choice to  think about it they will have more joy in their lives no matter what is going on at the present time.

So lets all take time out of our busy day and think about all of the things that we are grateful and thankful for.

I hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Life is too short to…

Life is too short to...

Life is too short to…care about what other people think of you.

As I get older, I have come to the realization that I just don’t care *throwing my hand up*.  I don’t care about what other people think of me. I don’t care what people have to say about me. I don’t care if you don’t like the way I speak. I just don’t care anymore LOL!

There was a time in my life that I worried so much about these things. I cared so much about being what everyone wanted me to be, that I made myself physically sick. When I think back about all of the time I wasted trying to do and be what I thought was expected of me I can’t help but laugh.

I have learned that once you start letting it all go and stop caring and worrying about other people and their opinions of you, your life becomes so much lighter. I have found that I have opened the door for more positive people to come in to my life, and with more positivity and like-minded people comes happiness and more confidence.

I challenge you to stop caring about what other people think of you, and see how it impacts your life.

VS Signature

I like to think of myself as a naturally happy person (my personal opinion, not sure what my family and friends have to say about that), wouldn’t you rather be happy than unhappy. I would, but that’s just me.

Speaking of being happy, the song HAPPY by Pharrell OMG!!! I know it has been out for a while now but no matter how many times I have heard this song, or how I am feeling or what I am doing, when I hear this song I can’t help but get happier. What is that??? It’s like no matter what, I get this huge smile on my face and can’t help it. Sometimes I try to just sit there and listen to it as I would any other song, but it just takes over. I get to singing, dancing, and clapping, I just can’t help myself. I wonder if this happens to anyone else *

All I can say is, I enjoy being happy and this song just makes my day even better when I hear it.

I know a few people in life that could benefit from listening to this song once in a while.

Let’s get happy people!!!

Life is better when you DANCE

just dance

So you may or may not know…NATIONAL DANCE DAY is Saturday July 26th, and I’m so excited.

National Dance Day is put on by the Dizzy Feet Foundation click here to find out what the Dizzy Feet Foundation is all about.

I have been searching far and wide to find a National Dance Day event here in San Diego, but I could only find one in La Jolla. Expression Dance and Movement Center is putting a National Dance Day Picnic, but from what I have read it sounds like their dancers will be doing the dances. It does not look like they are allowing the public to participate, which sucks because this is the only event that I could find in San Diego (looks like I will not be participating in the only National Dance Day event in SD L).

I need to dance

Thank goodness for Jazzercise, yes I said it JAZZERCISE looks like the only way I will be getting my dance on is by going to Jazzercise Saturday morning or trying to shake my groove thang at the club LOL. For those of you who know me personal you know I love to dance, and I am going to dance on National Dance Day one way or the other.

Please don’t forget to DANCE this Saturday!
