A new patient for Life

Eyewear for Fall

I feel like I have been wearing glasses forever, okay since I was 6.  So yeah that is forever (about 25 years). And it seems like for the longest time as an adult I have been looking for a really great  Optometrist.

I have bounced around and around to so many different Optometrist,  I feel like I went to a new one every other year. I was trying to find an Optometrist who really cared about the health of my eyes,  and not to mention  I needed someone who really wanted to help  me understand what was going on with my vision and eyes.

And I finally found what I was looking for yesterday at Mira Mesa Optometry. I have walked by Mira Mesa Optometry at least once a week for the last 2 years, sometimes I even walked inside to see what new eyeglasses were  in style for the season.  About a month ago was the last time that I walked in to take a look at their inventory of eyeglasses, the staff that greeted me at the front desk were so friendly and helpful as usual and as I was chatting with them, I decided to make an appointment for an exam because I had been putting it off for almost a year (time seems to be going by so quickly).

So I went in for my appointment yesterday with my husband which was a Saturday (a definite plus in my book since I work full time during the week) and I was greeted by the front desk staff, who again were very nice and friendly. They provided me with great customer service and made me feel welcomed and  very comfortable. I couldn’t help but notice that everyone working at Mira Mesa Optometry had smiles on their faces and they all seemed happy to be there working. And for those of you who know me, you know  the first thing I look for anywhere I go is customer service. The ability for employees to provide customer service will make or break the experience for me, and I love that the customer service at Mira Mesa Optometry is consistently wonderful.  But the icing on the cake for me with my whole experience was meeting Dr. Orlando Guiang. He took the time to listen to me and what I thought was going on with my vision and he also took the time to go over my test results and educate me on what was going on with my vision and eyes. He explained everything in a way that I could understand and he answered any and all of the questions that I had for him. I must say that Mira Mesa Optometry has gained a new patient for life!

I would like to give a HUGE shout out to everyone at Mira Mesa Optometry, thank you so much for taking such good care of me yesterday. I would recommend anyone looking for a Optometrist to check out Mira Mesa Optometry.

Get your mind right Quote for MONDAY:

Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, ‘What’s in it for me?’ – Brian Tracy

I really don’t have much to say about this quote, as it really speaks for itself.

I believe that when you help others without expecting anything back, you allow yourself to be open to receive so many unexpected blessings and not to mention it just feels good. In the past 8 years I have worked with many successful people in different industries, and I have witnessed the power and positive impact that helping and giving back to others can have on one’s life and business. If you want to be successful in life and/or business don’t be afraid to help others; not only financially, but if you see someone who looks like they are just having the worst day ever, feel free to give them a smile and words of encouragement or mentor someone looking to get in to your industry. You can also donate your time to a food bank, a Battered Women and Children’s shelter/home, or some sort of little league team in your community. My all time favorite thing to do is buy the person behind me at Starbucks their morning coffee in hopes of brightening up their day (and I always hope that they pay it forward if not no biggie). What will you do to be successful today?

I challenge you not to be unsuccessful and pay-it-forward this week.
