I am so happy to share with you, my first vision board of 2017.
I put off doing my first vision board because I knew that we were going to dedicating a few hours of work time to make one late in January, so why not wait and do it on company time LOL! We had a “vision board party”, my entire team and I came together and had an amazing time designing our vision boards based on goals that we set for ourselves for the New Year. We had such a great time chatting and helping each other go through all of the magazines, the room was full of laughter, crafting, and candy all of my favorite things.
I am a HUGE advocate for vision boards
I have created at least once a year for the last 10 or so years and every year at least one of my goals manifests in my life and it is the most amazing feeling.
You should definitely do your own vision board and place it somewhere that you will see it every single day.
Let me share with you why having a vision board is so important to me, a vision board is an amazing tool that you can use to help you visualize your dreams and goals. Because visualization is one of the most powerful exercises that you can do for your mind, having a vision board helps you to concentrate your thoughts on the goals that you have set for yourself with intent and images you are able to see and visualize your life and goals clearly.
Your mind is so amazing!
If you concentrate on what you want in life you will get it. So if you focus on positive things you will attract positivity in your life. But if you focus on negative things you will get more negativity in your life. So focusing your mind on your goals should have a positive feeling behind them and seeing them in front of you every day will associate positivity and allow for them to start manifesting in your life.
“WHAT WE THINK, WE BECOME.” – Buddha
But don’t just think these things will poof and manifest out of thin air, there are some actions that you will need to take. Trust me I wish my vision board could magically bring me all of the amazing things but that is not how it works. You will need to take small steps to help you reach your goals. If you want me to go into more detail on how this works, please leave me a comment below.
Hopefully, me sharing my vision board with you will inspire you to create your own. If you want a step by step guide on how to create your own vision board, please make sure you are receiving my newsletters.
I hope your year is off to a great start, I know mine is.
